SUMMER JUMP

Summer Jump this year was so much fun....

The first week of the holidays was definately an actioned pack one. The first day of Jump was the start of our treasure hunting week. With National Treasure as our theme this time we had loads of treasures to give away. With nearly 200 kids turning up the first day there were many children made new friends and there was a great buzz everywhere you went.

On Monday afternoon loads of you found the treasure in Kool Kids - 'Call on me and I will answer' God is always listening to us and loves when we talk to him.

Tuesday was a day of new things too. After we had finished Jump over 130 of us went through to the cinema to see Prince Caspian. We had a great time and finished off the avo with a McDonalds.

During the week loads of kids were given a treasure token to go into the Treasure Trove and a few were allowed to enter the Treasure Tank.....it had great prizes.

Don't worry Jump isn't finished for the year, in October we have another Jump planned. It's going to take place during the first week of the holidays........we'll let you know more details nearer the time.

K-NL at LOUNDON CASTLE.

This summer for the first time K-NL went down to Loundon Castle, near Ayr, and had great fun.

The High School Musicial team and a few other left at 5am on Saturday morning to start their long drive. After arriving just after 10 we quickly got set up so we could fit in some roller coasters before the show started.

Fabulous was a hit along with the other HSM2 songs.

It was great seeing so many kids jumping around and joining in with the songs, even though many of the them weren't singing them for the first time.

We had the opportunity to tell those at the park about Jesus and how much he loves every one of them. After we'd finished our show we packed up and it was time to roller coaster again. It was a great day all round.

KIDS IN THE PARK 2008

June 20th was a great night for all who came. Jesus gave us a great day, the sun was shinning and hundreds of kids had a fantastic evening. Around 4,000 people came along this year, we went through 3,000 burgers thanks to Zanres who donated them, Sangs also donated 2,000 bottles of juice. Between the BBQ, Stage Shows and Inflatables it was 2 & 1/2 hours of fun.

We had great fun on the stage, singing and jumping to our favourite songs. The High School Musicial team did a great job of performing 'What time is it.' & 'All for one'. Did anyone get a CD or a prize from the box? I even gave away my bottle of juice - that was not in the plan. :)

Those face painting just didn't stop. Over 3 hours of painting faces in all shapes and sizes - there were some kids I just didn't recognise afterwards.

Thanks to everyone who helped with the event. Your hard work was really appreciated and it helped all the families to enjoy a fantastic evening.

4 WEEKS AND THE FUN STARTS....

Can you believe it, 2 weeks and school starts again, then another 2 weeks and K-NL is back to normal.....I'm sooooo excited.

Until then we don't have any clubs running. However we have been busy over the summer, a few times we've been away from home telling other kids about Jesus - it's been great. Hopefully I'll get a chance to post some pictures over the next few weeks so you can catch up on what we've been doing.
