K-NL out and about.

I thought we'd have pics from around the villages today...

BELGER

These guys are great, coming to all the K-NL activities, they are always up for a laugh. The Belger bus stop was in the first 7 stops we did, they've been good supporters of Glo, and always scream at the Bus Driver Brian when he puts off the lights!

ROSEHEARTY

This is our newest bus stop at Glo. It's been great seeing the Rosehearty Kids coming in the bus door at Glo, they always make for the front row in the blue team. Theses guys are so friendly and have even offered the Bus Driver in for her coffee.....she's nae had time yet but I'm sure one day she'll make it.

STRICHEN

These guys travel 8 miles to come along to Glo every week. They do a great job in the Yellow Team, always jumping high, singing loud and always up for a game or two.

MEMSIE
Aye, we've even got folk from Memsie who come along faithfully every week, Lazers, Rangers, Glo & Kids Church these guys are there.

There are others children too from other places too, we put add them to our blog another day. I hope your enjoying the first official day of your holidays. Remember Kids Church is on tomorrow - I hope to see you there. Pastor Steve is looking for some help.....he needs some angels, a Mary, a Joseph, and a baby! Any idea what he's going to be talking about????

Friday's Parties....

Yesterday was another busy day for Santa and all at the AoG in Fraserburgh. We had another 2 parties and everyone had a great time.

Our first party was for the Primary 1's and those who are not old enough for school yet. Vicki started the party with an old favourite....duck, duck goose, it was so much fun. After a few more games we all sat down to have some food before we played some more. We sang Jingle Bells and Santa didn't come! Emma was feeling brave and went to look for Santa for us. We were so excited when she found him, he was sitting downstairs waiting for us.

Our next party was for Primary 4 & 5, it was maybe the last party but it was packed full of kids. You guys in Primary 4 & 5 know how to party, it was so much fun. The musical arms was won by Nikki & Ethan - they can run fast! The competitive Primary 4 & 5's gave 100% to the 'Bring Me' game. Each team bought the objects asked for as quickly as possible, at the end of the game the Primary 5 girls won by one point. Well done!

Again we stopped for a while and ate some food before we went back to partying. After some more games we all got to go down and meet Santa. Check out the photos below.

Santa did a great job for us, he worked really hard giving out lots of presents and posing for loads of photos. Jessica & Elisha gave Santa a little present for himself before he left to go home.

Below is Santa and his helpers (Katrina, Julie & Amy) just before he left. K-NL wants to thank Julie & John for all their hard work building and decorating the set for Santa's Special Room - it was great.

Tomorrow we have our

K-NL Christmas Family Service
@ 6pm
Fraserburgh AoG
Kids it's going to be a great evening. The Kids Band will be leading us in the carols, Pre-schoolers are singing Away in a Manger & Christmas is a Time, Primary 1-7 are Jumping for Joy, 'So Real' is dancing, we have a Family Challenge and a the very funny 'Christmas Rewind' play which the young Glo leaders are performing. Guys it's going to be a great evening so try and come along.

Party, party today and party, party tomorrow.

Wow.....what a day.
For all those who were partying with us today we hope you had a great time.
Primary 2 & 3 were first to come along and enjoy the Christmas celebrations. After musical bumps and pass the parcel we sat down for a bit to eat before getting back to the games.
We sang Jingle Bells very loud and no Santa walked into the hall!!!
Yes, we waited and waited and no one appeared. Sean and Scott were very brave and went to see if Santa had gone for a walk and they found .................SANTA IN HIS SPECIAL ROOM........
Yes there was Santa sitting waiting for us and we were sitting waiting for Santa - what a mix up.
Santa's room was amazing, did you enjoy it?
The lights, the fireplace, the snowmen, the trees, the naughty and nice list, the presents and of course SANTA - I think it was great.

Santa is here with two of his helpers.

After an exciting party with the Primary 2 & 3's it was time for the Primary 6 & 7s to arrive.

Priscilla started us off with a Christmas Classic - Balloons & String. This year is was boys v girls. It's such a great game with people stamping their feet all over the place while balloons are bursting. Next we had the 'love' game.....so all the boys ran away. I was chasing boys out of the toilets......and after they all came back and Priscilla changed the name of the game everybody joined in.

After eating it was time for another Christmas Classic - Happy Families.

Everyone went through to see Santa, before heading home - we had a blast.

We if you're reading this and it's your turn for partying today - come ready to have a great time.
Pre-school - P1 party starts at 3.30-5pm and then the Primary 4 - 5 party starts at 5.15 -7pm.

ALSO THE FAMILY CHRISTMAS SERVICE IS ON SUNDAY 14TH, starting at 6pm. Kids it's going to be great fun, I hope to see you there. I'll tell you more about it tomorrow.

A Time To Give....

I hope you are doing well today.
Mark from Sefton Village is wondering if anyone from K-NL can help some of the boys in the children's home over in the Philippians.

Pepito & Jaylord don't have any Game Boys to play with over there, and Mark was wondering if any children from K-NL might have a Game Boy & games that they're not using (maybe it's even up the loft) that you would like to give to the boys over in Sefton Village.

The children don't get a lot of toys and games, not like a lot of the kids over here in Scotland so the boys would be given the Game Boys on Christmas day as an extra special Christmas Present.

If you do have an old Game Boy & games that you no longer use and would like to give it away to the kids in Sefton Village for an extra special Christmas Present please bring it along to Church with you. We will then give it to a family who are going out to visit Sefton next month and the children will get them in time for Christmas.
If you've any questions please phone the Church...01346 511441

RATATOUILLE DRESSING UP NIGHT

What a night...did you enjoy it? Rats, Cooks, Food - it was all good. Can you recognise the blue rat??? Underneath all the wool is Sean - how amazing is his costume!
Ross & I were the first cooks in the building so we stopped for a quick photo before everyone else arrived.

We had a fantastic evening at Glo this week,

Loads of you came dressed up and you all looked amazing, we managed to catch a few of you on camera so see if you can stop yourself or your friends - some folk might be difficult to recognise.

The Orginals....lots you had put a lot of thought into your costume - here are a few pics of the those who were

Jordan looked great with his Rat Tait Soup - remember the bar code!!!
And Shannon was Chef Gusteau - great outfit...

And what about the OXO CUBE TWINS.
Lauren & Catie did a great job managing to keep their cubes on for the whole of Glo. Yes they danced, sang, listened and join in the fun with those huge boxes on!
The Older Girls looked great and Emma's homemade cakes were amazing. I managed to eat mine before Emile nibbled it first.

Above we have our the winners from Glo last night. Don't they look great.

Rosehearty Bus Stop - Don't these guys look great. Everyone on the Rosehearty bus stop was dressed you - Salt & Pepper, Cooks, Rats - you folks did a great job.

More importantly how much worth have you given Jesus since Glo?

Remember the verse: I will extol the Lord at all times, His praise will continually be in my mouth, Psalm 34 verse 1.

Let's see how much we can praise Jesus this week - whether we're having a good or bad day - Jesus deserves the BEST.

GLO HATS ARE BACK 4 WINTER

Can you believe it has been snowing today - I love it.
I can't wait till there's so much snow that we get to build snowmen, make snow angels, go sleighing & of course experience the
great snow days(when the school shuts).
It's important to be prepared for these cold days ahead.
We've got to wrap up warm - coats, scarves, gloves & where do you lose lots of heat from if it's not covered? Yes - your head, so it's important you remember your hat too!
Glo hats are back into the GLO SHOP for Winter 2008/09.
They will be on sale from Friday at £6 each.
We've expanded the range to purple & black this year so it gives you more choice.
Now don't worry boys I haven't forgotten about you, I'm still working on the
K-NL boys hat so watch this space it'll be coming soon!
I hope you folks are enjoying being back at school & working hard.

ONLY 3 SLEEPS TILL GLO.

Hows your costume coming along???? I'm still working on mine.

I'm sooooooooooo excited, & can hardly wait till Friday. It's going to be a great night.

Mouse Scurry, Splat the Rat (with a giant pipe!!!!), Dressing up

Great songs, prizes, games and the most important thing.....

we're going to learn a little bit more about Jesus.

I hope you can make it.

Sunday 26 October 2008

RATATOUILLE GLO SPECIAL this coming Friday.

Well can you believe it - the holidays are over!!
Back to school & life as we know it.

I am still excited though only 5 sleeps till Glo - so excited!

Remember Glo is having a special
RATATOUILLE DRESSING UP EVENING.

Yes, it's going to be amazing. You don't have to dress up, but if you want to there are lots of options for you to choose from. You could be a rat, a cook, a spoon, a knife, a pot, a bowl of soup.....the list could go on and on.

Do you remember who is standing behind the fork?

Georgia worked really hard on Thursday after jump and made a giant fork with spagetti,

it's a great fancy dress costume - I love it.

If you can make your costume from bits and bobs from your house, please do, it's so much more fun. I'm going to be making my costume this week - I think i'm going as a cook but I still haven't made up my mind.

Well folks I hope you have a great week at school and I'll hopefully see you this week at

Prayer Breakfast, Lazers, Rangers, Glo or Kids Church.

Everything is back up and running - it's going to be a great week.

JUMP....What a fantastic week.

OCTOBER JUMP

What a great week at JUMP.
Football, pool, volleyball, face painting, wii, skateboarding, crafts, cakes and more cakes - it was just so much fun. Below are some of shots of the week, can you see yourself?

Ratatouille was great theme to have for the week. Darren won THE MOUSE CHALLENGE with a time of 17.1 seconds - just beating Craig - Well doon Darren.Splat the rat was so much fun and we all loved the mouse scurrying game - you guys can move fast on those boards!

Below are the prize winners of the Ratatouille competition. For the boys Jed won the golf clubs & Jack and Jack won the Inflatable goal sets. For the girls Lara won the MP3 player and Kristin won the Bratz Fashion Bus.

I still can hardly believe the girls won for the week, it was so close. The girls got their waterballoons and did a great job of soaking the boys. Who do you think it'll be next time?
